The world has truly come full circle. If Columbus came looking for gold centuries ago, then Obama's coming lookin' for jobs and trade deals for the US markets - to the big land of opportunities (remember the "sone ki chidiya" bit..?).
What could be a bigger testimony and more gratifying than the fact that India is fast regaining the stature that it once enjoyed.
Given that this is despite and inspite of our politicians, it is all the more heartening. How i wish that this stature would inspire and get atleast a few politicos to rise above the crassness, moral bankruptcy and general ineptitude that we see around.
